​2nd International Meeting in Forensic Sciences and Criminal Behaviour​

The 2nd International Meeting in Forensic Sciences and Criminal Behaviour is an event organised by the students from the Bachelor's Degree in Forensic and Criminal Sciences of the Instituto Superior de Ciências da Saúde Egas Moniz (ISCSEM) in colaboration with the Universities of Cordoba and Lincoln, and will take place at ISCSEM in May 23rd and 24th, 2014.

    

    This edition will be subordinated to the main theme “Forensic Investigations: from Crime Scene to the Courtroom”, and will cover different subjects such as Crime Scene Investigation, Biological Weapons, Forensic Chemistry and Toxicology, Fingerprinting, Ballistics, an overview of the Portuguese and British Law systems and the forensic experts role.

 

    This year there will be many guest main speakers from different countries who are going to share their most recent achievements in the areas previously referred. The schedule will also grant an opportunity for all participants to apply for oral or poster presentations, having a chance to be featured in this edition’s Proceedings Book with their own abstract or a short article.

    Our main goal is to create a place where students and professionals can come together and exchange their knowledge in different subjects, providing different opportunities for one another.
