​​​Submission Guidelines.

All participants have the possibility to submit their abstracts to apply for oral or poster presentation, which will be reviewed by the scientific advisory board. If your abstract is accepted for oral presentation, it will be published as a short article on the official Proceedings Book of the meeting. Otherwise, it may be selected as a poster presentation and will be published as an abstract.

 

The participants selected for oral presentation should e-mail their abstract to secretariatimfscb14@gmail.com by April 15th. Abstracts submitted after the referred deadline will not be considered. The results will be announced by April 30th.

 

The preference of oral or poster presentation should be specified on the application. However, the final decision will be made by the Scientific Advisory Board.

 

 

 

Oral presentations will consist of 20 minutes time plus 5 minutes for discussion.

 

 

Whether the submission is for oral or poster presentation, applicants will have to complete the registration

The selection process will be based on the abstract's revelance to the event, and will be chosen personally by the Scientific Advisory Board. 

Submitting an abstract acknowledges that you accept it to be published in the official proceedings book for the Meeting.

 

 

Poster dimensions: 70x90 cm.

 

 

Preparing your abstract for submission

 

Abstract title: Max. of 15 words in upper case.

 

Abstract body: Text should not exceed 400 words with references. Images, graphs, diagrams or tables must not be included;

 

It must include the following topics: Introduction, objectives, methods, results, discussion and conclusion;

 

Applicants may also indicate keywords (3-5 words max);

 

 

When sending the e-mail with the abstract in the attatchments, please make sure that you indicate the following details regarding the presenting author(s): 

  • Full name;

  • E-mail address;

  • Phone number.

Your short article must contain a maximum of 3 pages, between 1 and 3 figures and the following topics:

  • Abstract

  • Introduction

  • Materials and methods

  • Results

  • Discussion

  • Conclusion

In case your research work is a review, send us a short review with a maximum of 3 pages.
